[3DS] GATEWAY 3.2 ULTRA PUBLIC BETA + GUIDA AVVIO SU NEW 3DS

Today we are back with another update: GATEWAY 3.2 ULTRA!

So let’s see what’s new:
– Latest EMUNAND support for old 3DS (currently version 9.7)
– New 3DS 8.1 JAPAN region now fully supported (multirom menu and so on)
– System Settings 4.5 support for New 3DS!
– Built-in NVRAM installer in the Gateway menu (behaves same as the Blue Card Gateway installer)

From now on, New 3DS users can rejoice that they no longer need to constantly use Cubic Ninja or Zelda Ocarina of Time to boot up into Gateway mode!
With this firmware update, you will be able to boot into Gateway mode using just System Settings, just like on old 3DS! No more extra accessories required once you have done the setup!

Just follow these simple steps:
1) Copy the Gateway 3DS 3.2.0 ULTRA Launcher.dat to your New 3DS microSD card
2) Copy mset_<region>.cia to your New 3DS microSD card (where <region> is your console region)
3) Copy “DevMenu.3ds” to your Gateway 3DS microSD card.
4) Boot into the Gateway menu with your preferred entrypoint (Zelda or Cubic Ninja)
5) Select the new “NVRAM INSTALL” option from the menu, proceed with installation.
6) Once installed, boot into Gateway mode and launch DevMenu.3ds from the multirom menu (press SELECT)
7) Start DevMenu and import mset_<region>.cia from your SD card.
8) Reboot console and verify you can now boot into Gateway mode with the classic System Settings DS Profile method. (Settings -> Profile -> Nintendo DS profile)
9) Enjoy! No more cartridge swapping required to use Gateway 3DS on New 3DS! :-)

!! IMPORTANT !!
Please make sure to install the *CORRECT* mset cia for your region, we do not recommend this for new users with little experience !!

Please be aware that this downgrades the System Settings application on your SYSNAND, so be wise and
backup your SYSNAND (and setup EMUNAND) using the Gateway menu before you do this.
Note you can always manually install a newer CIA version back of System Settings, but using our Sysnand Restore option is the recommended option.

New 3DS users might also wonder why there is no EMUNAND update yet, and the answer is simply that while we are still making steady progress on this front, there is still alot of work to be done until we get to this point. So we hope our New 3DS users will understand that we cannot give an exact end date for this yet.
Rest assured we will be able to overcome this obstacle!

Come riportato nella notizia in prima pagina con l'ultimo aggiornamento del firmware Gateway (3.2) è possibile modificare il menu del profilo DS anche sui nuovi N3DS per accedere al menu Gateway evitando così di dover utilizzare (e portarsi dietro) ad ogni riavvio Cubic Ninja o Ocarina Of Time.
La procedura descritta sul sito della Gateway, oltre che in inglese, non è molto chiara su alcuni aspetti. Ho pertanto deciso di scrivere una breve guida sulla procedura da seguire per installare questa funzionalità.

Iniziamo con quello che dovete procurarvi:
L'ultimo firmware Gateway scaricandolo dal loro sito (versione 3.2 ad oggi).
L'applicazione per sviluppatori DevMenu. Se siete soliti usare BigBlueMenu o FBI vi dico già subito che non funzionano. Dovete usare per forza DevMenu. Viene distribuito (illegalmente) con i DevKit Tools della Nintendo quindi non chiedete dove scaricarlo. Googlate "DevMenu.csu" e buona fortuna.
Una schedina microSD vuota sulla quale non è presente alcuna emuNAND. Vi basta anche una vecchia microSD da 2Gb.
Come sempre il gioco originale di Cubic Ninja o Ocarina Of Time solo per la prima volta (potete anche noleggiarlo o farvelo prestare).
Ecco i passi che dovete seguire con molta, molta attenzione:
Scaricate dal sito Gateway l'ultimo firmware e scompattatelo
Inserite la microSD vuota e senza partizione emuNAND nel PC. Per sicurezza formattatela come FAT32.
Copiate nella microSD i seguenti file che trovate nel firmware Gateway:
Launcher.dat
mset_eur.cia [solo se avete un N3DS italiano/europeo],
mset_usa.cia [solo se avete un N3DS americano],
mset_jap.cia [solo se avete un N3DS giapponese]
Estraete dal PC la microSD ed inseritela nel vostro N3DS.
Prendete ora la scheda microSD della cartuccia Gateway (quella con i backup dei giochi per intenderci).
Copiateci dentro il file "DevMenu.csu" che avete scaricato dalla rete, quindi rinominatelo come "DevMenu.3ds". Per sicurezza deframmentate la microSD.
Estraete dal PC la microSD ed inseritela nuovamente nella cartuccia Gateway.
Usando l'exploit per Cubic Ninja oppure Ocarina Of Time (trovate altrove guide esaurienti) entrate nel menu Gateway che dev'essere la versione 3.2 (o superiore).
Se non l'avete mai fatto FATE UN BACKUP DELLA VOSTRA SYSNAND usando la relativa opzione (anche qui trovate in rete guide esaurienti).
In fondo a destra trovate una nuova voce "NVRAM INSTALL". Selezionatela e fate fare l'aggiornamento. Questa operazione per quanto veloce (circa 10 secondi) e sicura va a scrivere sulla SysNand quindi fatela a vostro rischio e pericolo!
Inserite la cartuccia della Gateway ed entrate in modalità Gateway. Poiché la microSD che avete inserito in precedenza non contiene la emuNAND vi troverete in sysNAND con le funzionalità Gateway. Questo è molto importante per proseguire.
Con il "select" aprite il menu Gateway e come gioco/backup selezionate "DevMenu" (probabilmente l'ultimo dell'elenco), quindi eseguitelo.
Comparirà una schermata bianca con alcune tab in blu. Usando il D-PAD spostatevi sulla seconda tab chiamata "Import", quindi selezionate il file "mset_eur.cia" (o mset_usa.cia/mset_jap.cia). Questo verrà installato nel 3DS al posto del menu "Impostazioni Di Sistema" originale (in sostanza viene downgradato solo quel menu).
Adesso potete usare le impostazioni del profilo DS per entrare ogni volta nel menu della Gateway (non è necessaria la procedura della card blu come sui vecchi 3DS).
